Overview:

Position Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative is to assist in the process of providing customer service and to support the daily operations of the department, process accurate payment subscriptions, internal departmental relations, interact with the target demographics of Member Services, as well as other daily activities essential to the operations. The primary objective of the Customer Service Supervisor is to provide smooth and effective supervision of the functions and activities of the operation.
Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Establishes and maintains a good rapport with all management staff, local vendors and employees to accomplish local and corporate objectives.
  • Provides internal complaint resolution within Fire Member Services.
  • Must demonstrate quality communication skills, exhibiting a professional and ethical attitude at all times.
  • Must be able to communicate and work with various departments to obtain required information.
  • Review refund requests.
  • Represents Rural/Metro at various functions

Training

  • Participate in all required training sessions, including, but not limited to any mandatory Company training.

Essential Functions

  • Participates as a Team Member in the daily operations of the business office by effectively supporting current and potential subsrcription customers
  • Receives instruction and direction in all areas of the department from the department supervisor.
  • Maintains and contributes to daily and monthly reports needed in the FSBS to ensure the daily operations of the department are being met.
  • Process invoice payments, review credit balances, submit returned payments for review
  • Participates in team meetings and strategic planning
Qualifications:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Educational Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
